Papoose Sends Remy Ma Cease And Desist, Rem Sends Clarissa Shields Shots Right Back

Remy Ma dropped a new track, “Wanna Go,” and the timing has fans connecting the dots to Claressa Shields’ recent comments about Papoose.
During her appearance on Cam Newton’s Funky Friday, Shields pushed back on criticism of her relationship with Papoose, saying people were upset because “he didn’t downgrade.”
Now Remy appears to have an answer on wax. “Wanna Go” plays heavily with the idea of new versus secondhand, with Remy rapping about buying brand new, resale, women copying her style and shopping the clearance rack. She then flips “clearance” into “Clarence," the nickname she’s previously used to mock Shields.
And there’s another layer: the song arrives as reports resurfaced about a cease-and-desist Papoose’s attorney sent Remy’s attorney that was recently revealed over her “W.Y.F.L.” freestyle.
